In case you haven't heard, Denver is hosting a little thing called the Democratic National Convention in about a week. Well, this little cow town is ready to party! Please come and enjoy good conversation, great art, and maybe a beer or two at the CO/RK fine arts gallery (2220 E. Colfax Ave. in Denver) as we launch MileHive.com, a nonpartisan, fun experiment in citizen journalism. There'll be live music by Damon Wood, the former guitarist to the Godfather of Soul James Brown himself. DJ Stat (a.k.a. David Rastatter) will be bring his sound all the way from our nation's capitol.
For those of you yet to jump on our bandwagon, it is not to late. Check out
MileHive.com. You'll see news, views, artist profiles and galleries, features, video, and more. It's a great community and you can meet everyone face to face. Artists will be on hand for the party to discuss and sign their pieces and we expect a few well-known writers to be mingling.
Hope to see you there.
